A.1 Discussion and Consideration of Proposal to Not Open the Freedom Park Children's Waterpark for 2019
The Committee discussed and recommends not opening the Freedom Park Children's Waterpark for calendar year 2019. The pool operating funds will be reassigned to other areas of the recreation Budget to help eliminate the deficit. The budgeted funds for repairs will remain in the budget for future consideration and possible action in 2019.
B. Building & Grounds (action-
B.1 Discussion and Consideration of Contract Award to J. A, Watts, Inc. for the Renovations and Alteration of the Proksa Park Outside Access Bathrooms at a cost of $38,400.

The Committee recommends awarding the contract for the Renovations and Alteration of the Proksa Park Outside Access Bathrooms to J.A. Watts, Inc. with the stainless steel sink alternate for a contract cost of $38,400 and a completion time of 30 days. The Committee also authorizes Executive Director Janda to manage the project and address any issues that may arise on behalf of the District.

B.2 Discussion and Consideration of ARBNET Arboretum Accreditation Application,

The Committee recommends authorizing staff' to apply for the ARBNET Arboretum Accreditation for Proksa Park.

B3. Discussion and Consideration of LE.D Conversion for Park Pole Lights for Proksa Park

The Committee recommends authorizing staff to apply for the incentives and proceed with the projects which will reduce the amount energy used per fixture from 250 watts to 54 watts.
This equates to more than an 8,000 watt reduction for the park.

B4. Discussion and Consideration of LED Conversion for Staff Areas and Park Poles for Sunshine Park.

The Committee recommends authorizing staff to apply for the incentives and proceed with the project and complete the LED conversion for Sunshine Park.
