Scholarships

The Berwyn Park District believes that every resident should have the opportunity to participate in recreational programs, and will attempt to provide leisure opportunities for residents faced with financial hardships.

SCHOLARSHIP FEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
The applicant must be a resident of Berwyn. Proof of financial need must be demonstrated to be qualified for the program.

A scholarship application must be completed, and all necessary materials must be submitted before review begins. Applicants will be reviewed and evaluated, and decisions will be made based on need, and availability of scholarship funds. Applicants will be notified of a decision within two weeks of submission.

ACTIVE MILITARY DISCOUNT
Berwyn Park District appreciates the sacrifice and selfless acts our servicemen and service women make upon our behalf. That all active-duty members of the United States Armed Forces, including Reserve Forces, Coast Guard, and National Guard, who are or will be deployed to serve and protect the United States of America are to be supported and thanked for their selfless service. To this end the Berwyn Park District will provide recreation and leisure support to active military and their immediate family members defined as spouse and children, while member is on deployment and up to 30 days after returning from active duty.
