Youth Athletics

The Berwyn Park District will keep you active with a variety of challenging and fun learning-based sports programs. Highlights include soccer, lacrosse, and Little League Softball, as well as instructional youth sports clinics all year long.
2019 Spring Sports

In the srping of 2019, we will have the following leagues: Registeration for Winter and Spring League begin December 1st, 2018.

1. Winter - Indoor Soccer League: Ages 4-12

2. Spring Soccer League: Ages 4-12

3. Lacrosse League: Grades 3rd-8th

4. Youth Flag Football League: Grades K-4th (New)

5. Youth Tennis League: Ages 8-14 (New/Summer/Fall)

6. Soccer 3 v 3 Tournament: Ages 8-12 (Summer)

All Sports Clinic (Ages 6-10)

Your child will learn the basic fundamentals and techniques of a variety of sports and activities in this instructional clinic, with friendly scrimmages at the end of each day. Sports and activities include basketball, soccer, flag football, field hockey, and sports conditioning. Each day will consist of proper warm up techniques, skill development, age appropriate exercise, rules of each game and most of all, fun! This clinic is for all skill levels and we encourage you to try these sports for the first time or to continue to develop your skills.

Indoor Winter Soccer League - Ages 4-12

The Berwyn Park District offers an exciting youth instructional indoor soccer league for boys and girls, ages 4-12. Our league is for all skill levels with an emphasis on having fun, basic skill development, equal participation, teamwork and sportsmanship through practices and games.

Uniforms: Each player will receive one jersey, shorts and socks.

Shoes: Gym/flat sole shoes are required.

Coaches Needed: Volunteer coaches are an integral part of our soccer league and coaching clinics will be available to new and returning coaches. If you are interested in being a head or assistant coach, please email Nick Cronin:

Player Evaluations: Jan 27

Practices: Wednesdays: 5:30-8:30pm at a local District 100 School

Games: Sundays: 10:00am-4:00pm         

Younger ages will begin practices and games at the earlier time slot.

Practice/game times may vary upon program registration.

No games on St. Patrick’s Day weekend – March 17

Sport, Speed and Agility Clinic (Ages 5-12)

Sport Conditioning, Speed and Agility Clinic

This unique and specialized clinic is for all athletes who want to learn age appropriate training techniques to prepare them for their sport and give the tools to achieve the next level of competition. This clinic will focus on increasing and developing your athletes speed, stamina, body control, balance, coordination and overall fitness while performing sport skills. This clinic is for beginning and experienced athletes.

Volleyball Skills Clinic (Ages 8-14)

Participants will learn and develop basic skills through our unique and instructional volleyball skills clinic. We will emphasize on teaching and developing agility, conditioning, passing, receiving, striking and defense strategies. This clinic is for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced athletes and we encourage athletes who are interested in trying volleyball for the first time and/or for those who want to develop their current volleyball skills.
