The Berwyn Park District offers a wide variety of family-oriented events throughout the year. The majority of our special events are held free of charge for our residents. We strive to bring you entertainment and help build life-long memories.
Movies in the Park

T-mobile, Berwyn Park District and the Berwyn Public Library are partnering to connect the community by bringing you Movies in the Park! Movies will start promptly at dusk. Check the daily weather to see the time of dusk each day.

Movie: Incredibles 2
Everyone's favorite family of superheroes is back in Incredibles 2, but this time Helen is in the spotlight, leaving Bob at home with Violet and Dash to navigate the day-to-day heroics of "normal" life. When a new villian hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone must find a way to work together to defeat them!

Community Bonfire

Tuesday, Aug 6

June 11 from 7-9pm at Proksa Park
​August 6 from 7-9pm at Liberty Green Space

This FREE Community Bonfire Series invites community members to experience their park by firelight. Spend the evening in the park roasting marshmallows and getting to know your neighbors.

We'll provide the marshmallows, but please feel welcome to bring any other ingredients you'd like to add. Join us within the first 15 minutes of the event for a brief lesson on campfire building as we get things going. A Park District staff will be on location throughout the event.

Back to School Picnic

Join the Berwyn Park District and Berwyn South School District 100 as we say goodbye to summer in style! Join us for a day of food, fun and games at Proksa Park.

This FREE picnic features lunch off the grill, school supply giveaways donated by the Pav YMCA, informational booths, meet & greet with BSD 100 teachers, games and more.

Community Garage Sale

Fiesta Latina in the Park

Bring your family and friends as we celebrate our community's Mexican Heritage with our Annual Fiesta Latina in the Park!

This fall's event will feature a mariachi band, as well as banda music, bounce houses, Mexican food, candy and other vendors!

Grab your blanket or lawn chair and mark your calendar to join us for this yearly celebration.

Berwyn Brew Fest

Beer, music, food and friends…This is what you can expect to find at our 6th Annual Berwyn Brewfest this fall.

Enjoy a wide range of beer with over 40 different craft beers to choose from inside Proksa Park. Live music and food vendors will be there to make a complete afternoon for everyone involved!
