The Committee reviewed and discussed the 2017 Tax Levy Ordinance that was reviewed by the attorney and recommends adopting the 2017 Tax Levy Ordinance O-17-03 as presented totaling $1,763,387.76.


            A2.      Discussion and Consideration of 2017 PTELL Resolution R-17-12                                                                 

The Committee discussed and reviewed the PTELL Resolution directing the Cook County Clerk to reduce the 2017 Tax Levy as required to be in compliance with state law and recommends adopting Resolution R-17-12 as presented.

The Committee recommends adopting Resolution R-17-14 amending current full-time salary /wage ranges and directing the update of affected job descriptions.


C3.      Discussion and Consideration of Resolution R-17-15 Establishing the Regular Board Meeting Schedule for 2017.


The Committee reviewed and recommends adopting Resolution R-16-15 establishing the tentative Regular Board Meeting Schedule for 2017 as required by the Illinois Open Meetings Act.

Polar Express Storytime Train

Take a train ride on the popular “Polar Express” by Chris Van Allsburg.  BPD’s “Polar Express” will leave the Berwyn Train Station and go to the North Pole (Dupage Children’s Museum).  This delightful story will be read on our journey and when we arrive Santa Claus will join us for pictures and crafts!

The Berwyn Park District will be serving up its 11th Annual Pasta Dinner Fundraiser at the Liberty Cultural Center. Come experience Fabulous Italian Cuisine made our Berwyn Park District Board President Mario Manfredini, and stay for dinner entertainment, cash bar, auctions and raffles throughout the evening. All proceeds will go directly to the Berwyn Park District’s Access to Recreation fund. Seating is limited and these tickets will sell out soon, so BUY YOUR TICKETS BEFORE WE SELL OUT!
