Commissioner Edward A. Karasek Passes Away
It is with great sadness that we announce that Commissioner Edward A. Karasek passed away Wednesday evening. Mr. Karasek was the longest serving park commissioner in the State of Illinois with more than 51 years of volunteer elected service with the Berwyn Park District. He was first appointed in 1966 and has served impeccably ever since. His love, passion, and dedication to the Berwyn Park District led the Berwyn Park District from one park (Proksa) to the current 13 park/facility locations...

October Board Meeting Rescheduled for October 30, 2017
The canceled October 17, 2017 Board of Commissioners meeting has been rescheduled. The rescheduled meeting will be held Monday, October 30, 2017. The meeting will be held on is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be held at Proksa Park Activity Center, 3001 South Wisconsin Avenue, Berwyn, Illinois 60402.

Brock and Espinoza Elected to Park Board
Brian Brock and Ana Espinoza were recently elected to serve as Commissioners for the Berwyn Park District. Mr. Brock will serve a two-year partial term and Ms. Espinoza will serve a six-year full term.

2018 Tentative Budget Available for Public Review
The Berwyn Park District Board of Commissioners adopted a Tentative Budget at the January 16, 2018 Board meeting held at Proksa Park.
